Super Bowl LVII - A Travel Guide

Here in "The Valley of The Sun", the preparation for Super Bowl LVII has been going on for what seems like multiple years (it has).  With that being said, we're excited that Super Bowl Week is here!  We've put together a collection of tips to make the most out of your trip to Phoenix and Glendale.

The game has long sold out, but there are always good seats available on StubHub!

Whether you are going to the game or not, make sure to get your favorite NFL gear from the Chiefs, Eagles, or your favorite team at Fanatics!

Tip #1 - Plan for Traffic around Phoenix

It's no secret that the population of the Phoenix metro area has surged in recent years.  With surges in population, traffic has increased as well.   Even on the weekend, it's not unheard of to sit in traffic on I-10 outside of Phoenix Skyharbor International Airport or on AZ-101 next to State Farm Stadium.

Tip #2 - Golf Anyone?

Sure Phoenix is known for some of the best golf courses in the country, but did you know the Waste Management Phoenix Open is this week as well?  This PGA Tournament at TPC Scottsdale has been known to have the most foot traffic of any golf tournament in the country and the party-like atmosphere has a lot to do with it.  The actual tournament runs Thursday through Sunday, but come check out the celebrities playing with your favorite pros during the Pro-Am tournament on Wednesday.  Tickets for the Pro-Am run $50 and start at $100 for the tournament Thursday-Sunday.

TPC Scottsdale is well spread out and parking options are plenty, so there's no reason not to go!

For more information, please visit the Waste Management Phoenix Open site or get your tickets on StubHub!

Tip #3 - Parties and Celebrities

Rob Gronkowski, Shaq, The Bella Twins, Diplo, and Snoop Dogg will all be in the area the week of Super Bowl LVII for various events.  These generally have some kind of admission costs, but honestly when is the next time you're coming to the Super Bowl?

Tip #4 - Free Events & Concerts

The cost of these events may be a little much considering how much you are paying to attend the game and your travel costs.  That being said, there are some great free events going on this week:

Tip #5 - Tailgating

If you're in the Red, Orange, Yellow, Gray, or Green parking lots, tailgating will be permitted!  If you're not going to the game and have some money to spend, head on across the street to the Tanger Outlets for the Bobby Flay (yes, that one) Players Tailgate.  Admission cost... $875. Ouch.

Tailgating or grilling out at home?  Start off the year right with our friends at Pit Boss Grills.  They also sell some great spices and sauces as well!
