The Timberwolves exploded out of the gates and outscored the Raptors by 8 points in the 1st quarter. Minnesota's Jimmy Butler, Taj Gibson, and Gorgui Dieng combined for 18 points. Toronto was led by Serge Ibaka's 8 points and DeMar DeRozan's 4 assists. The Raptors committed 5 fouls which is part of the reason why they were trailing the T'Wolves. Toronto was down 18-27.
