Game Review: Raptors at Bulls

Jonas Valanciunas and Serge Ibaka carried the load for the Raptors to start the game, combining for 18 points. Toronto struggled defensively trying to guard Justin Holiday, who scored 8 points. Chicago's Zach Lavine scored 5. Bulls' Guard Jerian Grant was picking apart the Toronto defense as he notched 6 assists in the period. The Raptors trailed 27-33.

Toronto had one of the best quarters of their season in the 2nd. The Raptors dropped 34 points and held the Bulls to only 16. Pascal Siakam was a force on offense, scoring 8 points from all over the court. Jakob Poeltl added on 6. With about 4.8 seconds left on the lock, DeMar DeRozan posted up Chicago's Justin Holiday from the elbow of the court. DeRozan got Holiday and David Nwaba in the air, and he cut in between them to get his shot off. DeMar banked the shot off of the backboard and it fell right in the basket. His buzzer beater put the Raptors up 61-49 over the Bulls.

Kyle Lowry put on a offensive clinic in the 3rd quarter, dropping a total of 14 points. Ibaka contributed with 8 points of his own. Toronto out-rebounded Chicago 14-12 in the period. OG Anunoby struggled on offense as he missed 4 shots, but he made up for it with his terrific defense. Ibaka had a huge block on Denzel Valentine's three-point shot, which ended the quarter. Toronto was up 95-76.
