About Marlins Park:

Sitting on the grounds of the former Orange Bowl Stadium site, Marlins Park includes a retractable roof, which comes in handy during Florida's humid rainy season.

Security Screenings:

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy:

Bags larger than 16" x 16" x 8" are prohibited. All bags are subject to search.

Parking & Local Transportation

Parking Options

There are four parking garages and six surface lots with a total of 5,700 spots for parking. To ensure you get a spot, it is highly recommended to buy your parking in advance.

Bus Service:

You can catch a Miami-Dade Transit bus on the #6, #7, #11, #12, #17, #21 and #51 Lines.

Rail Service:

You can take either the Tri Rail or Metrorail System to get to Marlins Park. You need to get off at the Civic Center Station or Culmer Station. If you get off at Culmer Station, look for the express shuttle, which will take you right to the park. If you get off at the Civic Center Station, you can catch a trolley to the station.

Taxi Service:

You may catch a taxi outside the Home Plate Entrance on Marlins Way between NW 5th Street and NW 6th Street.

This is a fine stadium. It's modern and has all the amenities one would expect. The only problem is that there isn't anything "local" that screams "Miami!"...
