GIVE YOURSELF PLENTY OF TIME TO GET THERE!

The running joke is Dodgers fans show up in the third and leave in the seventh but with the traffic and the fact that it takes 30 minutes or more to get from the gate to park if you hit traffic at the wrong time.

Overall, the stadium is nice for its age. It's clearly an older stadium, but they've kept it up over the years with the high-end video boards, sound systems and a variety of food options. You don't have to go far to find a famous "Dodger Dog".

Finally, if you have a chance go up to the club level and visit the little Dodgers museum in the lobby area. They have a collection of trophies, Dodger memorabilia, and items from legendary announcer Vin Scully's last game in 2016.

Stadium Information

About Dodger Stadium:

Dodger Stadium is the third oldest Major League Baseball stadium still in use (behind Fenway Park and Wrigley Field). Located near downtown Los Angeles, it's very common to see Hollywood celebrities at the game including Dodger super fan, Larry King.

Tour Info:

A variety of tour options are available. Please visit tour information for latest schedule and pricing!

Security Screenings:

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy:

Dodger Stadium has a clear bag policy. Only clear bags that are 12? x 12? x 6? or smaller will be allowed. Guests may also bring in one small clutch bag.

Note: Bag and security policy listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variation to the policy. Please check event website for any changes or variation.

Parking & Transportation

Parking Options

There are several lots to choose from on game day. To speed up your process to get into the lot, you can use prepaid parking. They have a dedicated lane for entry into the lots.

We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details!

Bus Service:

You may take the MTA to get to the game by bus. You may take the Gold Line, Number 2 or Number 4 buses. You need to get off the bus on Sunset, then walk 1/4 mile to the stadium.

Rail Service:

You can take the L Line (Gold) Metro rail stop at Chinatown Station, which is at the intersection of Alameda Street and College Street and that is a 3/4 mile walk to the Dodger Stadium. Or the Broadway Street stop is a 1/2 mile walk to the Union Station shuttle. The Dodger Stadium Express boards on the Southwest side of the Union Station.

Taxi & Rideshare Service:

Taxis are only allowed in Lot G. You can get dropped off there or you could catch a taxi there.

Ride Share drop-offs are permitted at any of the three open entry gates. After the game, head over to the Uber Zone in Lot 11 (outside of the stadium gates and next to the Sunset, Gate A parking entrance) and your driver will meet you there.
