Formerly known as Skydome, Rogers Centre opened in 1989 and was one of the first motorized retractable roofs in professional sports. It has many unique features such as a train station directly below the stadium and 70 hotel rooms that overlook the field.
A variety of tour options are available. Please visit for tour information.
Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
Bags larger than 16" x 16" x 8" are prohibited. All bags are subject to search.
Note: Bag and security policy listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variation to the policy. Please check event website for any changes or variation.
Take GO Transit to get the stadium. Get off at Union Station and head towards the stadium.
The Toronto Transit Commission has a subway system that will drop you off about five minutes from the gates. This is achieved by taking the Yonge - University Yellow Line to Union Station. This will cost you $3 each way.
If you want to take the taxi, visit the north side of the stadium on Front Street or catch the taxi on Bremner Blvd near Rees St.
