Stadium Information

About Arena:

Home to two NBA teams, an NHL team, and a WNBA team, Arena (formerly Staples Center) is one of the busiest venues in the country holding over 250 events a year. Located next to the LA Convention Center and the Microsoft Theatre, this complex completely revitalized the neighborhood and made it a hot spot of LA.

Tour Info:

There doesn't appear to be any public tour offerings at this time.

Security Screenings:

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy:

All bags larger than 14"x14"x6" such as backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc. will be prohibited from entry into the arena.  All bags are subject to inspection before entry.

Note: Bag and security policy listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variation to the policy. Please check event website for any changes or variation.

Parking & Transportation

Parking Options

There are several parking lots in the area of the arena. The ones owned by the stadium usually require advanced purchase of a parking pass to use the lot, but there are third-party private lots in the area as well.

We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details!

Bus Service:

The 30, 81, 439, 442, 460 bus lines run near the stadium.  Please see the METRO website to plan your trip.

Rail Service:

The Pico Station on Pico Blvd (southeast of the arena) is within walking distance of the stadium. Use either the Blue or Expo lines to get there.

Taxi & Rideshare Service:

There are two pickup and drop-off points. The first is on Figueroa St, directly in front of the stadium. The second is in front of Lot 1 on Chick Hern Ct.

Closest Major Airport: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
