About American Airlines Center:

This dual purpose stadium opened in 2001 and primarily hosts basketball and hockey games. The Mavericks and Stars are the only teams that actually play in the city limits of Dallas.

Tour Info:

Tours can be arranged by making a reservation with a minimum of one week notice. Please visit tour information for latest schedule and pricing.

Security Screenings:

All guests are subject to a hand-held wand scanning before entry.

Bag Policy:

All bags larger than 14"x14"x6" such as backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc. will be prohibited from entry into the arena.  All bags are subject to inspection before entry.

Note: Bag and security policy listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variation to the policy. Please check event website for any changes or variation.

There are several area parking garages and lots. Parking should not be a problem.

The Victory Station will drop you off across the street from the stadium. Please visit DART to plan your trip.

Taxi & Rideshare Service:

There is no official taxi stand for this stadium, but taxis should be available to flag on the streets.

Closest Major Airport: Dallas-Ft Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Field (LOV)
