Stadium Information

About Comerica Park:

Replacing legendary Tigers Stadium, the Tigers moved to Comerica Park in 2000. Comerica Park and Ford Field have helped transform a once dying downtown Detroit into an area people like to visit again.

Tour Info:

A variety of tour options are available. Please visit tour information for latest schedule and pricing!

Security Screenings:

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy:

Single-compartment bags, wallets, and clutches smaller than 4" x 6" x 1.5" with or without a handle or strap are allowed in the stadium. Some exceptions can be made for medically necessary items. Bags will be searched upon entry.

Note: Bag and security policy listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variation to the policy. Please check event website for any changes or variation.

Parking & Transportation

Parking Options

There is plenty of parking at the park. Make sure to note, the closer you park to the Comerica Park, the more expensive it gets.

We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details!

Bus Service:

The SMART or DDOT bus can take you to Comerica Park. Stops for DDOT bus line 4 are outside the stadium at Woodward and Columbia and Woodward and Adams.

Rail Service:

Take the Detroit People Mover to the park. The first is the Grand Circus Park Station and the second is the Broadway Station.  To plan your trip, visit The People Mover.

Taxi & Rideshare Service:

The taxi stand is located outside Gate B by section 104. You can start catching a taxi during the 8th inning.

Closest Major Airport: Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW)
