Coors Field is one of my all-time favorite stadiums! The stadium is positioned perfectly so you have an incredible view of the Rockies while you are watching the game. One of my favorite features is the purple row; there is one row that spans the entire upper deck that is exactly a mile high. Just a nice little added touch. The stadium itself has a great party deck in the upper deck, and the seats throughout the stadium as very comfortable.
Coors Field is located in the Lower Downtown (LoDo) area of downtown Denver. Due to the high elevation of the city and lower air density, home run balls would fly out of the stadium at record rates. As a result, baseballs are stored in a humidor before the game, which has helped bring the home run totals down in recent years.
A variety of tour options are available. Please visit tour information for latest schedule and pricing!
Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
The stadium allows soft-sided, single-pocket bags and containers 16”x 16”x 8” or smaller. Backpacks and other multi-pocket bags or purses are prohibited.
Note: Bag and security policy listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variation to the policy. Please check event website for any changes or variation.
There are 4,390 parking spots at the stadium. If you strike out at the stadium, there are about 18,000 spots within a 15 minute walk of the stadium. Just make sure to pay close attention to the signs to prevent getting a ticket or towed.
We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details!
Take the RockiesRide to the game. Instead of driving to the stadium, park at one of the multiple park-n-ride locations and ride the bus to the stadium. Prices vary along with pick-up times. Just search for RockiesRide on the RTD site for the most up-to-date information.
If you choose to take the train, you can take the E or W line and get off at the Union Station, or you can take the rail line D, H, or L and get off at the 16th St. and California stop or the D or H line to the 16th St. and Stout stop.
There is no taxi stand at this field. You must go to the Guest Relations Center (section 127) to order a taxi.

A nice downtown stadium. Good venue for concerts; however, no bathrooms nearby for infield seating. Not many restaurants nearby.
