About Marvel Stadium

Also known as Docklands Stadium, this Melbourne based retractable roof stadium hosts Australian Football and Rugby competitions for several clubs! The stadium was originally built as the central piece to the revival of the Melbourne Docklands area and also be a more central location for sports and other large events.

Tour Info

Tours are available Monday-Friday at 11 pm, 1 pm, and 3 pm with no 3 pm tour on game days. This one hour guided tour walks you through the facility, changing rooms, coaches room, and through the tunnel giving you a close-up view of one of Australia's premier sporting venues. Tickets can be purchased through the stadium website: https://marvelstadium.com.au/tours/

Marvel Stadium offers a modern, enclosed stadium experience in the heart of Melbourne’s Docklands, hosting AFL, soccer, and major events in a controlled, weather-proof environment.

Located in central Melbourne, the stadium is easily accessible by train, tram, and walking routes.

Concessions include a wide range of food and beverage options, reflecting its modern venue design.

Security Screenings

Typical security protocol is used including metal detectors, pat-down searches, and bag inspections occur before entry will be permitted.

Bag Policy

There is no specific bag policy other than the bag must be able to comfortably fit under your seat. Bags will be searched upon entry.

Getting to Marvel Stadium

Public Transit:

The Southern Cross Train Station is located just east of the stadium. This train line is used to connect the area to many parts of the country. For more information and schedules, please visit https://southerncrossstation.com.au

A taxi rank is located near the A & B Carport entrance located on Bourke Street (south of the stadium).
