Stadium Information

About Paycom Arena:

Opening in 2002, this stadium was originally built for concerts, minor league hockey, and arena football in an attempt to bring a professional basketball team to the city. While temporarily hosting the New Orleans franchise after Hurricane Katrina, they did not get their team permanently until 2008.

Tour Info:

There doesn't appear to be any public tour offerings at this time.

Security Screenings:

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy:

All bags larger than 14"x14"x6" such as backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc. will be prohibited from entry into the arena.  All bags are subject to inspection before entry.

Note: Bag and security policy listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variation to the policy. Please check event website for any changes or variation.

Parking & Transportation

Parking Options

Over 900 spots are available at the nearby convention center just north of the stadium. For "big games", the convention center is reserve parking only. An additional garage is available directly next to the stadium and Courtyard hotel, but that could cost anywhere from $20-30 depending on the opponent.

We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details!

Bus Service:

The 11, 15, and 50 bus lines all drop within a block of the stadium. Please visit EMBARK to plan your trip.

Rail Service:

There is no local rail, but the Amtrak Oklahoma City Station is located just north of the stadium. To plan your trip, please visit Amtrak.

Taxi & Rideshare Service:

There does not appear to be an official taxi stand for the stadium, although it does not appear to be too difficult to flag down a taxi on the street after the event.

Closest Major Airport: Will Rogers World Airport (OKC)
