Visited this arena for the World Cup of Hockey and watched several games here. The bottom concourse features great food and drink options, but the upper concourse is very tight (in fact, it was hard to even walk through during intermissions). The seats in the upper level are very tight, but overall, had a great experience.
Opening in 1999, the stadium was originally going to be a basketball venue only with the Raptors playing most of their games at Skydome (Rogers Centre). It was later decided the Maple Leafs needed a new venue and the Scotiabank Arena design was modified to handle both basketball and hockey.
There doesn't appear to be any public tour offerings at this time.
Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
Small handbag purses and baby bags are only permitted inside the stadium. Backpacks, luggage, and regular or large size handbags are prohibited. There does not appear to be a specific size limitation so use common sense when bringing your bags. All bags are subject to search before entering.
Note: Bag and security policy listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variation to the policy. Please check event website for any changes or variation.
There are over 13,000 spaces either on or near the property of the arena.
We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details!
The 6 Bay and 72 Pape busses stop at Union Station, which is a short walk from the arena. Please visit the TTC to plan your trip.
The 509 and 510 streetcars and the Yonge/University/Spadina subway line stop at Union Station, which is a short walk from the arena. Please visit the TTC to plan your trip.
There does not appear to be an official taxi stand and we're told that hailing a taxi after an event is very difficult to do.

Spectacular place to see a hockey game. They pull out all the stops. I am an instant Maple Leafs fan.

Go Leafs Go! Playing the Detroit Red wings tonight! A lot of renovations being done on 1,3, & 6 levels. Scotiabank Arena is just off Union Station...

Decent enough venue for concerts. The food and drinks inside are insanely overpriced, so don't get anything there.. instead, go to the path and get...
