This track opened in 1956 and is 3.4 miles. It has been home to NASCAR and the IndyCar Series and is located on the southern tip of Seneca Lake.

You can "Drive the Glen" by driving your vehicle around the track for 2 laps around this 3.4-mile circuit. Check the website for details for the current schedule.

Fan Tips

Watkins Glen International delivers one of the most historic road course experiences in North America, known for its fast layout and iconic elevation changes.

Located in the Finger Lakes region of New York, the track is primarily accessed by car, with camping and parking throughout the property.

Viewing areas include grandstands and open hillside sections, allowing fans to explore multiple corners of the circuit.

Concessions are available throughout the venue, offering traditional race-day options.

Camping and weekend-long fan experiences are a major part of events at the Glen.

Security Screenings

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy

You may enter with a backpack no longer than 17" or a soft-sided cooler or bag no larger than 9"x 10"x 13". All bags are subject to inspections.
