About Wrigley Field:

Wrigley Field opened in 1914 and became the home of the Chicago Cubs starting in 1916. It is currently the second oldest stadium in Major League Baseball (Fenway Park in Boston, MA).

Over the years, Wrigley has hosted a variety of events including the NFL's Chicago Bears, college football, soccer, and concerts.

Wrigley Field completed a $500 million renovation in 2018.

Tour Info:

Please visit Wrigley Field Tours for the current schedule and rates.

Security Screenings:

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy:

Add that the website indicates Backpacks including clear backpacks, and hard-sided coolers are not allowed. Bags like wallets, purses, soft-sided coolers are allowed if 16” x 16” x 8” or smaller.

Note: Bag and security policy listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variation to the policy. Please check event website for any changes or variation.

Parking Options

Parking is not easy to find at Wrigley Field, unless you are a season ticket holder with a parking pass. For night and weekend games, free parking and a shuttle bus are available at 3900 N. We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details!
