Stadium Information

About Yankee Stadium:

The new Yankee Stadium replaced the previous Yankee Stadium in 2009. It's jokingly referred to as "The House that George Built", named after late owner George Steinbrenner.

Tour Info:

A variety of tours are available. Please visit for tour information.

Security Screenings:

All guests must enter through metal detectors before entering the stadium.

Bag Policy:

The stadium allows a soft-sided and no larger than 16 inches by 16 inches by 8 inches bag and only also one smaller-sized soft-sided personal item like a clutch.

Note: Bag and security policy listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variation to the policy. Please check event website for any changes or variation.

Parking & Transportation

Parking Options

Yankee Stadium does not control any parking. There is a private company called Quik Park and it is highly recommended that you pre-pay for parking prior to game day.

We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details!

Bus Service:

There are multiple buses you can take to get to Yankee Stadium.  Visit the MTA's Yankee Stadium website for more information.

Rail Service:

You can take either the train or the subway to get to the stadium. If you take the subway, take the No. 4 train or the D train.  The B train provides service only on weekdays. If you take the actual train, get on the Metro-North line.

Visit the MTA's Yankee Stadium website for more information.

Taxi & Rideshare Service:

Car Service and Taxi assistance is available outside Gate 2.

Closest Major Airport: Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
