I attended Angel Stadium as part of a corporate event, so I must disclose I have not seen a game here. That being said, there are plenty of parking lots surrounding the ballpark and it's a relatively short walk to public transit.
Overall, the stadium has been kept in great shape and has really evolved from the closed off football stadium pre-1990s into an actual nice baseball venue. If you're willing to spend a pretty penny, the Lexus Club behind home plate is a great spot to watch from.

Game day at American Family Field starts in the parking lot. Tailgating is a major part of the experience in Milwaukee, with fans arriving early to grill, play games, and settle in well before first pitch.
The stadium’s retractable roof ensures games go on regardless of weather, and once inside, the layout feels open and easy to navigate. The design leans modern, with wide concourses and clear views throughout.
Seating offers good sightlines across most sections, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The outfield areas and social spaces are especially popular for fans looking to move around during the game.
Food and drink options reflect the local culture, with bratwursts, cheese curds, and plenty of beer choices available. Lines can build, but the space makes it manageable even during busy innings.
After the game, many fans return to the parking lot or nearby areas to continue the experience. The tailgate culture makes American Family Field feel different from most MLB venues.
All guests must enter through metal detectors before entering the stadium.
Public Transit: Anaheim Regional Transportation provides transportation by bus to the stadium. The bus stops at the Anaheim Gardenwalk, Downtown Disney, and the Anaheim Convention Center Grand Plaza. You may take the Angels Express Train on the Orange County Line Train. This is $7 round-trip and drop-off is at the stadium's parking lot. Take Train Route 6502 or 643. On Friday nights, you may take Train Route 899. It is recommended that you arrive 30 minutes prior to train departure to purchase your ticket on Angels Express.
Rideshare: Pre-Game drop off should occur via the entry on Gene Autry Way and pickup after the game will be outside left field at Gate 1.

There are three entrances to the official Angel Stadium of Anaheim parking lot. Parking is $20 cash for standard-size passenger vehicles. Oversized vehicles (over 20 feet in length) cost $30 to park. Parking lots open two and a half hours prior to the first pitch.
We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details.
