PPG Paints Arena provides a modern home for the Pittsburgh Penguins, combining strong fan support with a central downtown location.
Located in Pittsburgh’s downtown area, the arena is accessible by car, rideshare, and public transit.
The seating design offers strong sightlines and keeps fans engaged throughout the game.
Concessions include traditional fare along with Pittsburgh favorites.
After the game, fans can explore nearby restaurants and entertainment options in the city.
Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium. Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside. Pat down searches may be required.
Public Transit: 61A, 61B, 61C, 61D, 71A, 71C, 71D, 81, 82 and 83 bus routes all have stops at the stadium. Please visit the Port Authority to plan your trip. Light rail stations are located at Steel Plaza, First Ave and Wood St with Steel Plaza (0.5 miles) being the closest to the stadium.
Rideshare: There is no official taxi stand, but it appears you can hail a cab from the Fifth Ave side of the stadium after the event.

Closest Major Airport: Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT)
There are several reasonably priced parking lots within a short walking distance of the stadium.
We're setting up a partnership with a new parking company. Stay tuned for more details.
