Fan Tips

UBS Arena delivers a modern NHL experience with a strong hockey-first design, serving as home to the New York Islanders in a venue built specifically for the sport.

Located at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York, the arena is accessible by car, rideshare, and Long Island Rail Road service directly to the venue.

The seating bowl is designed to keep fans close to the ice, creating a loud and engaging atmosphere throughout the game.

Concessions include traditional options along with New York-area favorites and premium offerings.

After the game, fans can head back toward Manhattan or explore Long Island dining and entertainment options nearby.

Security Screenings

Security is not posted, but we assume that there will be the typical metal detectors/wands and other usual security inspections before entry is permitted.

Bag Policy

Bags are prohibited, but there is no mention of clutch purses or ziplock bags like other arenas.  We have to assume clutch purses below the usual 4.5"x6.5" will be permitted and gallon ziplock bags, but we recommend calling the arena before your event to confirm if there are any special rules.

Getting to UBS Arena

Public Transit:

Belmont Park/Hempstead Ave station appears to be the closest bus stop to the arena.  To plan your trip, please visit the MTA website.

There is no rail close by.  Grand Central, Penn Station, and Atlantic Terminal all are approximately 30 minutes from the arena.  You'll need a taxi/ride share to get to the arena if you want to travel by train.
