Also known as Sangram Stadium, this facility replaced the older Seoul Olympic Stadium as the crown jewel and home of the Korean National Soccer Team and FC Seoul of K League 1.
The stadium is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm for visits and features access to a museum dedicated to the 2002 World Cup. The tour is self guided and you basically have the facility to yourself.
Seoul World Cup Stadium offers a modern and spacious football experience, originally built for the 2002 FIFA World Cup and now serving as a key venue for soccer and major events in South Korea.
Located in Seoul, the stadium is easily accessible by subway, bus, and car, with strong public transit connections.
The seating bowl provides wide views of the pitch, with a design that accommodates large crowds while maintaining a strong atmosphere.
Concessions include a mix of traditional stadium fare and local Korean food options.
The surrounding area and nearby parks make it easy to combine a match with additional sightseeing in Seoul.
The standard security protocol is followed here including metal detectors, pat-downs, and bag searches before entry.
