Fan Tips

Golden 1 Center delivers a modern, fan-focused arena experience in the heart of Sacramento, serving as home to the Kings.

Located in downtown Sacramento, the arena is easily accessible by car, rideshare, and nearby transit options.

The seating design keeps fans close to the court, creating a strong and energetic atmosphere.

Food options emphasize local vendors and California-inspired cuisine.

After the game, fans can explore the surrounding downtown district for dining and entertainment.

Security Screenings

Like almost all US and Canadian Stadiums, you will need to enter through a metal detector before entering the stadium.  Be sure to give yourself extra time and don't bring any weapons or devices that could be seen as a weapon inside.  Pat down searches may be required.

Bag Policy

All bags larger than 8"x6"x1" such as backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc. will be prohibited from entry into the arena.  An exception could be made for a bag deemed as an “Medical Bag”. Medical bags must be searched and tagged as such by a security supervisor before entry will be permitted. All bags are subject to inspection before entry.

Note: Bag and security policies listed above are for typical sporting events. Special events, concerts, and other situations may result in variations. Please check the event website for any changes.
